Entertainment! PREVIEW OF COLUMBIA RIVER POWER MARATHONThe Columbia River Power Marathon has grown
into a four event fitness festival for runners and walkers of all ages
and abilities: 8K Walk/Run, Half Marathon Walk/Run, Marathon, and
Marathon Relay. Start and finish will be by the Desert River Inn
in Umatilla, Oregon. From the start, participants descend to the
waterfront and traverse the Columbia River to Washington via McNary Dam.
Marathon Day - Saturday, October 22, 2011 is the only time
each year that the dam is open to the public there were over 300
participants in 2010. Participants came from all over the United
States. New York, Tennessee, Indiana, Alaska and many in between.
A fantastic potato bar, live music and great conversations will greet
participants in the Expo area! More information to come!
